Will Windshield Defense protect against rock strikes?

Yes! Windshield Defense will protect your Jeep®, INEOS®, Mercedes-Benz®, Ford® or other vehicle windshield from pesky rock chips and other debris that often cause chips and cracks on your windshield.

How long will the product last?

We recommend removing a layer every six months, but can last longer depending on your windshield usage.

What vehicles is Windshield Defense available for?

We offer laser pre-cut sizes to fit the Jeep® Wrangler (TJ, JK, and JL) and the Jeep® Gladiator (JT), INEOS® Grenadier®, Mercedes-Benz® G-Wagon, Ford® Bronco®.

Installation

Do I need help to install the product?

We recommend having two people install Windshield Defense™ to help guide the film over the hood and onto the windshield. Having someone help you will make the installation much easier.

Can I have it professionally installed?

Yes. Any automotive window tint shop should be able to install Windshield Defense™. We even offer a $25 rebate for professional installation.

What temperature is best for installation?

We recommend installing Windshield Defense™ indoors at temperatures between 60°F and 80°F. Temperatures above or below this range might cause the film to cure improperly.

Usage & Maintenance

Should I replace my windshield wipers before installing?

Yes, it is essential to replace your windshield wiper blades before installing our product to prevent any scratching or potential damage.

How long should I wait before driving after installation?

Before driving your vehicle with Windshield Defense™ installed, we recommend letting the product cure for 2 to 4 hours. You can clean the windshield after roughly one hour.

When can I drive in the rain after installation?

We recommend waiting for at least 24 hours before any exposure to rain and 3 to 5 days before any car wash.
